5 RESTAURANTS, 5 DISHES

The variety of flavors and gastronomic influences has taken over the capital without any resistance. The quality is increasingly unbeatable and this ensures that the visits and meals are always memorable and will make you want to return. Today, for five different places in Lisbon, there are five dishes worth tasting!

Boa-Bao

You won't need passport or luggage, but Boa-Bao is guaranteed to take you on a trip through the East. Southeast Asia is accurately represented in the menu and, among many delicacies you can't miss, the shrimp pad thai with rice noodles is the perfect option. The flavors are intense, surprising and well seasoned, the ingredients are rich and fresh and everything is prepared with the greatest and best attention. If the popularity and the impossibility of reservation are an obstacle, you can choose the take-away option and ensure a good meal!

Zero Zero

We departure from Asia and take a flight to Italy without leaving Lisbon. That's because, hidden at Príncipe Real, Zero Zero awaits us. The terrace invites you to enjoy a meal by the sun, and the bar near the entrance serves us a fresh drink a smile. Zero Zero is a restaurant to enjoy without haste and the menu imports what Italy has best to offer. The pizzas stand out, deservedly, making Zero Zero one of the best pizza places in the capital. Among the bolder options, such as Tartufi and Porcini, or safer ingredients, such as Funghi or Margherita, there's always assurance that the fine dough and fresh ingredients will have remarkable quality, and that the flavors are unforgettable. For a flavored and casual meal, Zero Zero is the right choice.

Zenith Brunch & Cocktails

Brunch is getting increasingly more famous, and there are plenty of options, but for a safe and delicious decision, Zenith is the place to go. With the possibility to book tables for groups during the week and serving brunch a la carte, daily and at any hour, this is the best meeting point for the first meal of the day following a slow awakening. The menu and the portions are generous, but for a sweet taste, pancakes and french toasts are the best options. With fluffy dough and so many topping options (Nutella, Oreo, or, in the case of french toast, blueberry jam, cream, wild berries and almond), it's guaranteed your eyes will eat too!

Pasta Non Basta

The Pinocchio of the restoration, since the name deceives (a lot!). Pasta is more than enough at this place, that already has several stores in Lisbon. A small pasta (and pizza) paradise that presents a familiar and casual atmosphere. The pastas are, indeed, unmissable. The al dente pasta, the seasoned flavors, the selected ingredients and the generous portions conquer any visitor. Linguine Nele Al Gamberi or Tagliatlle Alla Polpette are two protagonists you'll want to play with. In Pasta Non Basta we travel to Italy in a bite.

O Talho

Irreverent and extravagant, O Talho lives up to its name and presents itself as a restaurant embedded in a butcher's shop. With its two places well outlined, we go through the main entrance, characterized by the common traits of a butchery, and enter a dimmed lighted, sophisticated and pleasant atmosphere, where Chef Kiko invites us to taste the influences of his travels through Asia and Latin America. Its name immediately denounces that meat is in the spotlight and the Uruguayan picanha is a dish you can't miss. Well seasoned, soft and succulent, to be enjoyed calmly and with attention to each flavor.
