My Story Hotel Ouro

walking around downtown

Right in the heart of downtown Lisbon, you’ll a find a central spot that’s perfect for an overnight stay, especially if you are travelling without a car.

The Portuguese inspiration of the hotel can easily be noticed, especially in the famous hydraulic ‘azulejo’ tiles. Housed in a restored building that was originally built in the 18th century, this hotel was clearly conceived for a guest that values a central location, and whose purpose is to spend the day getting to know the city. The décor is welcoming, with warm tones, and the internal staircase makes us feel we are in a hotel with history. It’s easy to live Lisbon here, and the different floors even have each their own tram, which are very typical of the city.

The My Story Hotel Ouro bar/restaurant is also welcoming; as soon as you enter the hotel, you feel that vibe, especially at dinnertime. This is a place to enjoy what Portuguese snack-based cuisine can offer, in dishes such as: eggs and asparagus, “pica-pau”, breaded octopus, codfish chunk. To end in a sweet note, we suggest the orange cake and the chocolate mousse.

Breakfast is served in the same place that houses the restaurant, and you can see the downtown movement while sipping your coffee and eating a croissant. Breakfast consists of fresh fruit, cheese, sausages, pastries, scrambled eggs, bacon and mushrooms. There are several kinds of juice and, of course, the always essential coffee.

Have a nice stay.
