When we visit the Cristina Siopa store we enter the wonderful world of toys and immediately realized that this is not just any toy store. As we chatted with Camila, we discovered the story behind this charming space: the store opened in 1991, by the hands of her parents, and it emerged from their need to find toys (for Camila to play with) that diverged from the offer of larger stores.

The concept behind this store is to give kids an opportunity to play with creative toys while exploring their imagination, in a way that conventional toys don’t. At the same time, great care is taken in choosing natural materials, such as wood, offering superior resistance and quality, while providing children with a greater contact with nature.

Although this family business started out as a small shop, it grew over the years and currently represents various international toy brands in Portugal. Doll houses, stuffed animals, toy kitchens, books, carts... This store has an offer that immediately captivates any child, while leaving no adult indifferent.

Its product line has guidelines that align education with environmental sustainability: the wood comes from forests that will be replanted, the paints are non-toxic, perfect for children and the environment, the products are respectful of human rights and some are even 100% organic. Fundamentally, besides stimulating the little ones’ imagination, these toys also teach them to respect our planet.

Cool Tip: the store also has toys and games for the whole family. That way, there’s no excuse not to play with the kids!
