LÉclair is a piece of Parisian temptation that was brought to the city of Lisbon.
Here you’ll find a display composed of all the colors you could possibly imagine, which contrast with the sober and elegant atmosphere of LÉclair. When you enter the space, you’ll discover that the kingdom has been conquered by éclairs and macaroons, some of the small great temptations of French pastry.
An old passion made Matthieu and João leave Paris behind. Matthieu, a Marketing graduate, and João, who had already mastered the art of pastry in the kitchens of 5 star hotels, had the dream of creating, with their own hands, premium French pastry. Their dream came true in Lisbon, the city that says a lot about their Portuguese roots.
Every day, Chef João Henriques creates 15 different flavors to satisfy their customers’ desires. The ingredients, those are always the very best: the chocolate is Valrhona; the pistachio comes directly from Iran; and the vanilla travels to Lisbon from Madagascar. In Chef João Henriques’ kitchen there is no place for artificial flavors; everything is fresh and natural. Whatever is left over is donated to charity, because here, and every day, everything is freshly made. The teas that deliciously accompany these wonders are Mariage Frères.
The truth is that tasting just one is never enough, but we must highlight the scrumptious lemon meringue éclair and the rose macaroon. Final verdict? Absolutely delicious.
