If you’re a fan of the silver screen, this is a must-see! Cinemateca brings together more than 70 thousand inventoried material elements and the most diverse collections of moving images in different types of supports – analog and digital.

At Cinemateca Portuguesa there are over 21,000 Portuguese works, including feature and short films (fiction, documentaries, family films...) that have been acquired and donated over the years.

This inviting space shows us the evolution of cinema over various eras and is extremely fascinating, thanks to the different objects that are encountered. With a wonderful permanent exhibition and temporary exhibitions for all ages, the Cinema Museum is a mandatory stop in Lisbon.
