Casa Amora

a beautiful Portuguese house, that’s for sure

The concept of Casa Amora is one of love: welcoming well, in a typical Portuguese house.

In this property, nothing was left to chance, and that is perceived in all the details that the rooms were decorated with, as well as throughout the entire house. The cozy and thematic touch that was thought out to every last detail leaves no visitor indifferent. The idea here is to feel at home, but in a well decorated home, to stay overnight in a room that has a unique personality – because every room is different. Each room has its own inspiration, ranging from Amália Rodrigues to Fernando Pessoa, and you’ll see that each one was consistently decorated in the spirit of each one of these Lisbon personalities.

You can count on a team of 3 friendly people that will make any stay at Casa Amora the coziest and perfect experience possible.

There is always fresh fruit available to guests, the fridge is always open, there is tea, coffee and homemade biscuits for those who wish. Being here is like being at home, and this is precisely the environment that the owners, Luís and João, dreamed of when they created this unique space to receive those visiting the city.

Faience from Caldas, created by Rafael Bordallo Pinheiro, are part of this Portuguese nook’s decor, and is also the basis for an excellent breakfast.

The canvas chairs by the Portuguese brand Lona, are also part of the decor, and show that there is a careful dedication to always have present details that give guests the experience of a truly elegant Portuguese home.

At the end of their stay, no guest leaves empty-handed, they are always given a little gift which is usually a designer cookie that is always tasty, always different and always alluding to the city of Lisbon.
