A century-old hat shop like no other, right in the heart of Lisbon. Founded in 1886 by Manuel Aquino de Azevedo Rua – an old wine producer – for years, the Azevedo Rua hat shop defined fashion around coffee tables and remains open to this day. Passed on from generation to generation, it has always had a descendant of the founder at the helm of the business.
Walking sticks, scarves and umbrellas can also be purchased here, but the protagonists are, undeniably and as would be expected, hats. With bows, without bows, top hats, caps, berets, with ribbons, without ribbons, in sober or more vibrant colors... There’s a bit of everything, dressed up with a classic and timeless look, to please every customer's wish.
