L’os à Moelle is the French restaurant in Lisbon where meat is, undoubtedly, the star of the show! The cosmopolitan environment prepares us for the fantastic experience that we are about to relish.

Éric and Patrícia Charlet have chosen Lisbon to open the special venue: L’os à Moelle is born out of the enchantment that the French couple feels about Lisbon and it has, since its opening, delighted the meat lovers.

L’os à Moelle identifies cooking as an art, and that is how the restaurant presents it. The careful selection of ingredients, their combination, and quality of the raw-materials and the meat - coming directly from small producers - make all the difference!

Here, you can discover the best suggestions of matured meat between 4 and 14 weeks, including different breeds, such as Mertolenga from Alentejo, Ramo Grande from the Azores, the French Limousine, the Irish Angus, and the Spanish Rubia Galega. However, it is important to highlight that at L’os à Moelle the available breeds are constantly changing, so you can try new flavors with each visit - therefore, every new visit is a surprise!

At L’os à Moelle’s kitchen, Chef Eric Charlet spreads his imagination, and lets his French origins unite with national inspirations, to create dishes that are true works of art! Here, it is also possible to taste a variety of tasty snacks that combine both gastronomies. We tasted Petisco L’os à Moelle and we became fans; it is a dish made with boné marrow roasted with pepper and salt that will be stuck in your memory - “l’os à moelle” is precisely the french expression for “marrowbone”!

On our visit, we were presented with a Crispy Pork Belly, as an appetizer. Then, we enjoyed the delicious Chuck Steak with Bearnaise Sauce, accompanied by a bowl of wonderful sprout rice, and mashed potato puree - an incredible suggestion prepared with truffle oil. By the end, we were delighted with a Gourmand Café, a greedy suggestion of coffee accompanied by four sweet miniatures.

We emphasize that at L’os à Moelle you will find an exceptional meat’s menu, in addition to the matured options, which includes PDO options, mouth-watering fish proposals, vegan choices, and some suggestions for the little ones, as well. No one is left out, and there are even more reasons to visit L’os à Moelle with your loved ones!
