At the Pestana Palace, the palace that was converted into a hotel, you’ll find Valle Flôr, a luxurious restaurant whose menu is perfectly suited to the space and its Louis XV inspired decor. We travel back in time as soon as we walk into the great room, but we’re transported back to present day thanks to the dishes that arrive at our table.

With objects from another era, decorative paintings, national ingredients, creative dishes and a menu adapted to each season, the Valle Flôr restaurant, whose kitchen is in the hands of Chef Pedro Inglês Marques, makes a positive first impression and offers visitors an unforgettable gastronomical memory. And that’s the whole point, right? With undeniable Portuguese characteristics and carefully selected ingredients, the Valle Flôr restaurant presents us aromas with history, blending tradition with innovation.

It served us a quail trio (marinated quail breast, filo pastry and quail cream, and quail stewed in port wine), along with a beef dish. For a perfect experience, accompany your meal with good wine.

Cool Tip: On Sundays, from 12:30 to 4:00 PM, Valle Flôr serves a wonderful brunch. During the summer, brunch can be enjoyed in picnic mode in the hotel garden, with the always amazing dishes and options savored in a more relaxed atmosphere.
