Tasca da Esquina, where you’ll find three renowned chefs (Vítor Sobral, Hugo Nascimento and Luís Espadana), is located in Campo de Ourique in a warm, friendly, comfortable and well organized space, and promises to make those who choose it for a meal come back for more.
At Tasca da Esquina there's typical Portuguese appetizers that remind us of mom and home sweet home, but it’s easy to see that in every dish, a very modern and extremely challenging signature cuisine is the star – these aren’t just simple snacks, they’re well thought out and well made dishes that provide an unforgettable dining experience, with an accompanying wine list that is quite complete.
If you’re undecided between the different portions (which is quite possible since all the dishes trigger our curiosity and are created with only the finest ingredients), go with our recommendations: cold pineapple and shrimp soup, rabbit salad with couscous and eggplant puree, cod with chick pea puree, egg cooked at a low temperature with fried onion; and finally, sautéed cockle and toasted Alentejo bread.
Cool Tip: If you like to be surprised, choose the menu "Stay in the Chef's Hands", a tasting menu consisting of seven portions and dessert. Challenge your palate!
