In Centro Comercial Alvalade, Mercantina is an obligatory stop for all lovers of Italian flavors. This little corner of Naples welcomes us with a very warm atmosphere and a mouth-watering menu.
Mercantina has everything to provide happy experiences: the space is large and very cozy, and the atmosphere is very relaxed.

The Chef and the Pizzaiolo, who guide the kitchen, guarantee very appetizing dishes; the menu is varied and inspired by the most genuine flavors between wood-fired oven pizzas, risottos and tasty pastas. The ingredients are the best: fresh and of great quality and the proof is the certification received by the restaurant, awarded by the True Neapolitan Pizza Association - the taste is not deceiving!

We know it will be difficult to choose, so we leave you with some suggestions. To start, try the bruschetta of tomato confit, parma ham and burrata, accompanied by a mixed salad with gravlax salmon (with a Nordic curing process done in the restaurant), beet, orange, lemon and apple - a real treat. Regarding the pastas, we recommend the tagliolini with shrimp flavored with coconut milk and lime - if the look is amazing, the taste is memorable! If you're more of a pizza person, how about opting for the pizza tirolesa? With tomato, mozzarella, fontina and speck (a type of ham) ... it’s a must!

On our visit, we didn't miss dessert and chose an orange panna cotta with red berries and an apple and cinnamon crumble with vanilla ice cream - able to cheer the heart of the most demanding. And, to go with it, we suggest you finish your Italian-style meal, just like we did, with a delicious mint and cinnamon lemonade.
