Mano a Mano
In a relaxed and pleasant environment, Mano a Mano appeared to materialize the ancient idea of opening a completely Italian restaurant, where the only ingredients were totally Italian and where everyone could feel at home.
In 2018, Mano a Mano opened its doors and brought to Lisbon the best side of Italian cuisine. Among rivalries that can be debated at the table - risotto or pasta? Contemporary or traditional dishes? Neapolitan or Roman pizza? Pasta or pizza? Italian wine or signature cocktail? – what’s certain is that, regardless of your choice, you’ll enjoy a truly Italian meal, as if an Italian grandmother was cooking for you.
Two ovens complete the ancestral techniques used by the Mano a Mano team, and since the pasta and bread are produced in the restaurant (even the yeast is produced by the team!), it’s safe to say that the dishes are authentic.
With “out of the box” options, details that elevate the concept to a new level, and a decor that makes everything even more special, the best advice we can give you, is to make your reservation to taste the best of Italy, without leaving Lisbon. We couldn’t fail to mention the Burrata - a starter which is not obvious, but which is delicious - and the Mano a Mano pizza, in the Neapolitan version!
