Delfina - Cantina Portuguesa is the restaurant that Delfina decided to create to celebrate Portuguese gastronomy and share her grandmother's recipes with those who stop by. At Delfina - Cantina Portuguesa, the food is homemade, honest, and Mediterranean-inspired. It is indeed the Portuguese cuisine style.

The ingredients come from local suppliers, who have become Delfina's friends. The fish arrives very fresh, the meat is rigorously chosen, and the Mercado da Ribeira market receives a member of the team every morning - this is the only way to guarantee that the food is genuine and delicious. Here, where the codfish specialties stand out next to the appetizers and grilled meat, you eat well and socialize with friends and family.

The "Bacalhau à Delfina", inspired by the "Bacalhau à Zé do Pipo" is one of the most popular dishes - and we understand why -, but there are other options with codfish, such as the "Bacalhau Cremoso à Brás" or the typical "Bacalhau Grelhado ao Peso", the restaurant's suggestion for a shared meal. However, this Portuguese house is not only made up of codfish food. The sardines, the soup, the meat - the "Naco do Lombo" pork dish deserves a chance! - and the desserts are very diverse, with the Portuguese classics and options that take us on a trip around the Mediterranean.

If you would like some more specific suggestions - and because we know it is not always easy to choose between so many wonderful dishes - we suggest clams "à Bulhão Pato" and "Bacalhau à Brás". To complement these dishes, the wines, also Portuguese, are a good option.
