The Coleção Berardo Museum opened a door to culture and art in Lisbon. Along the museum’s different floors, it is possible to access the highest and purest representation of modern and contemporary movements through 862 works, from temporary and permanent exhibitions by national and international artists from various cultural backgrounds.

Both exhibitions are worth visiting and complement each other while presenting the main artistic movements from the 20th century up until the present day and age. The works, which are chronologically displayed, present new perspectives on the memory of a certain period and focus on conveying the concerns which artists faced and how they reacted to them.
