Feitoria

Sitting around a Portuguese table

When we think of the Feitoria restaurant, the first word that comes to mind is excellent and all the other words that follow are simply synonyms. A simple and cozy space, impeccable service and heavenly food are what define this Michelin star restaurant.

Led by Chef João Rodrigues, Feitoria follows the concept of the Altis Belém, hotel of which it is part, and presents a bit of the Portuguese identity on each plate it serves, sautéed with a hint of the flavors of the Portuguese discoveries.
The plates are mostly prepared with national products and change according to the very best that the land and the sea have to offer, always accompanied by the ideal wine, which is also national.

The journey always begins with pre-appetizers, offered by Feitoria, a finger food moment that permits one to get familiarized with the space, as explained by the Chef.

After that, the direction travelled is chosen by you, you can choose one or more dishes from the menu or venture out for a tasting menu. Our trip led us to the 5 course tasting menu, starting with a Foie Gras accompanied by grapes, followed by the perfect combination of scallops and “pata negra” ham with wild mushrooms.

After the appetizers, it was time to taste the entrees. We began with wild sea bass, accompanied by lobster and Alcácer do Sal rice with lime and coriander. It was followed by grilled Black Angus Entrecote, accompanied by potato stuffed with mountain cheese, sautéed turnips and quail egg.

Before dessert came a delightful surprise, yogurt panna cotta accompanied by red berries and crunchy meringues. Finally, we were comforted by the ultimate dessert: a fusion of coconut, mango and cashew flavors.

Did you enjoy our trip? Take your own then! And if you prefer, you can embark on an even more exclusive trip… by reserving the Chef's table.
